My Mum says that if you drink the water that cabbage has been boiled in, it makes your skin lovely. I just couldn't drink it, it smells horrible.

I despise most of the brassicas, including cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, kohlrabi, rutabagas and turnips. Well, I don't believe I've actually tried rutabagas, but with a name like that....

I enjoy the taste of cabbage, especially if it's part of an Asian dish and has Teriyaki or Bourbon sauce on it. Mmm

Its okay unless someone has boiled the crap out of it - without any crunch it's not very nice. Red cabbage is good. .

Liked it OK when I was a smaller kid, now the smell of it cooking stinks to high heaven. I can eat the little slivers of red ones in a salad but that's it

A guy I work with says chinese restaurants can make $50 (or was it $500!) out of a single cabbage.

I've never liked many vegetables. Cabbage has it's culinary uses but it's not meant to be eaten on it's own IMO.

If you don't like cabbage.
White cabbage, soaked in vinegar tastes great.
