Definitely. I like jokes that fly in the face of political correctness quite a bit, but I think the best types of jokes are the really clever and intelligent ones. Somebody needs to find a way to resurrect Carlin and Hicks.
Look up Doug Stanhope for open minded, thought provoking, in your face hilarity..

I'm quite familiar with him. He is hilarious.

Yeah, I do but I'm a horrible person. I laughed really hard at the controversial Mohammad comic years ago then laughed even harder at the response to it. I think a -nicer- word for the kind of stuff I laugh at is culturally insensitive, which more often than not is unintentional and makes it all the more funny. The racist things that make me laugh hardest are how other countries interpret other cultures, races and religions, be it in propaganda or media that's ignorant, the latter usually coming from highly homogeneous countries *cough cough Japan cough. I don't really like it when western comedians try to be wacky and politically incorrent because it strikes me as forced or trying too hard and they almost always end going for a libertarian(?) "everyone is crazy or stupid" approach like what South Park does now. Like when someone on tv goes "n****r!! ! OH WOW..SHOCKED YOU GUYS HUH?" my eyes just roll
