Asp-Z and MXH

Stop trying to wind each other up, It's against the rules.

I suggest you exchange MSN details and then you can gif each other into a stupor without involving the rest of us.

On a side note, If Asp-Z would like to provide me with his birth details, I could whip up a synastry (relationship) chart for the pair of you. That would probably be interesting and on topic. :D

Thank you.

But please report thread doo doos to the mods. Vigilante giffing isn't going to solve anything, though it might be fun for a minute.

I used to be a Sagittarius, but last year I read that they were adding a NEW sign called "Ophiuchus."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/13-sign_zo ... _astrology

Here's as site on pronouncing this wonderful word: http://www.forvo.com/word/ophiuchus/

Now astrology offends both my brain, and my ears, thanks astrology!

Hello there!

2012 has been a very interesting year for me. I discovered my interest in astrology around January, and I just had a revelation that I probably have Aspergers last week (August).

I used to be very skeptical of astrology. I would bash it as new-age nonsense at the first mention! That was until I won a free astrology reading in a raffle. It was unbelievably accurate. I was unemployed at the time so spent the next several weeks devouring all the information I could about astrology, and soon became convinced about it's ability to accurately portray a person's personality (if done correctly and holistically, not just the usual sun-sign reading). I am not thoroughly convinced in its ability to predict the future, however. There are just too many interpretations and complexities... but for hindsight its perfectly fine.

My Sun sign: Pisces
Moon sign: Capricorn
Rising sign: Scorpio

Like someone mentioned previously, a capricorn sign will lead to extreme skepticism and that was one of the first things pointed out to me that changed my mind on astrology :P

But the most profoundly convincing thing was the explanation of mercury in my chart.
My mercury was retrograde, meaning it appears to be moving backwards in the sky compared to its normal motion. If you have your a chart, you will see an 'R' next to the planet if it is retrograde. Anyways here is an explanation by a really good professional astrologer if you have retrograde mercury in your chart:

Quote:
Retrograde refers to a backward motion. The planet Mercury doesn't actually reverse direction. That's just the way it looks to us. It's an optical illusion that occurs periodically from Earth's viewpoint, giving the impression of a planet moving backward against the setting of constellations in the sky. When a planet is retrograde, its energy becomes the opposite of what it is when it's direct. Since Mercury is the Planet of thought and communication, that's what gets turned inside out.

When Mercury is retrograde (which is three times every year), people are plagued by misunderstandings, slips of the tongue, and technological glitches ranging from crossed phone lines to uncooperative ATM machines. It's not unlike adding up a column of numbers and getting a different answer every time. Obviously something's wrong-but what? This was something that took on an eerie relevance during the United States presidential election of 2000, when Mercury was at the height of its retrograde. First the state of Florida was called for the Democratic candidate Al Gore, then for the Republican candidate George W Bush. This vacillation between the two sides continued for weeks. Indeed the very legality of the vote recount itself forced the U.S. Supreme Court to step in and announce a winner. That incident raised many questions that still remain unanswered today.

But what's hurly-burly for most is business as usual for you. This isn't to say that if you're a Child of Mercury Retrograde you're dazed and confused or just plain wacky. For most people the mind shuts down when faced with an unexpected twist to an anticipated result. Yet for you Children of Mercury Retrograde, this is when your unique intelligence kicks in. You tend to have a more cautious and skeptical approach to life. You know how things can inexplicably get crazy. This attitude doesn't make you pessimistic; it makes you shrewd and analytical.

Because words and thoughts don't come as easily for you-you may have difficulty with speech, reading, or perhaps you were taught at school to communicate in a language different from the one spoken at home-you really have to develop those mental skills. The result may be an extensive vocabulary, a highly tuned ear, keen eye-to-hand coordination, or a "sixth sense" for reading between the lines. Your Birthday Planet also rules over the five senses, so for those of you who were born with Mercury Retrograde, you may find that if one sense is "blocked" then another one compensates or may even prove superior. The gifted musician Ray Charles is a Child of Mercury Retrograde.

The last thing I want to mention is Chiron.
Chiron is a comet, not a planet. You may scoff at this notion, but technically Pluto isn't a planet either :P
Anyways, Chiron represents a "wound" in your life. I have my Mercury (communication) in a square aspect(square aspect = bad/challenging/problematic) with chiron. So being an Aspie, you could imagine reading about this made perfect sense.

Hope that helps!
