Not sure. It says confused, doesn't it? I think whoever created couldn't understand facial expressions all that well. : p

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I couldn't agree more. Some the emoticons in the "view more emoticons" area are really useless. For example, at what point in any conversation would one feel their point was better made by adding this guy: :afro:

When you need to reference the Jackson 5 of the early 70's.

:?: :!: :@: (We have these symbols on the keyboard. Why not just type them?)

:x (Looks like it could be used as a racist jab against Asians and reminds me of the "CAPS LOCK TO EMPHASIZE MY RAGE" meme featuring an Asian male with his fists up and a similar expression on his face)

 (Lacks opposite direction)

:geek: (Looks like an intoxicated man with hot dogs on his head. The glasses emoticon captures geekdom better)

I actually like to use  when I'm really sad or worried. there seem to be no worried or scared faces to use.

:pale: Seems to be the only one close enough to scared/worried.

:hockey: Does the blue band signify something? I hurt my arm maybe?

Seems to me the emoticons should be clear representations of human emotion given half of us cant read them right anyways

NVM I just realized Admin is probably AS as well and picked out the emocons.

AS you were.

That one, I think, is my face when I can't find the book I want at the library.

I don't like to use any of them. I like to be harder to read.

Just like in real life.

I think that this smiley :  looks like someone smiling while their mouth is twitching for some reason. Strange.

I was thinking maybe a well-placed Welcome Back Kotter reference.
