Greasy food, junk food, fast food, snackbar food x_x And pork because i'm allergic, and i'm still quite traumatized by those not fully cooked wild mushrooms from the BBQ and the ones i made myself one, so i just leave the mushroom cooking to my mom :o I also dislike spicey food, it makes my stomach upset, and that's all i can think of right now!

The foods that I still get repulsed by are boiled/fried/scrambled eggs, seafood (unless it's fish fingers or whiting) and anything that comes from Hungry Jacks or Hog's Breath Cafe. For some strange reason I had Hog's Breath twice in my lifetime and in both instances, I felt very sick afterwards.

Brussel Sprouts. It is obviously something that should have been around in the Mesozoic Era, not mine.

Nice to see a fellow mycophobe. Mushrooms are the only thing I dislike that I will never allow to come into contact with my cuisine cavern.
Foods I dislike (but will eat if I have to):
Maraschino cherries (taste like chemicals and feel like corpse skin)
Olives (especially green olives)
Greasy fast food items (the only thing I get on the rare occasion I go to a fast food joint are chicken nuggets or strips)
Watercress (it doesn't have a pleasant texture but I eat it often due to the health benefits)
Cranberries (I like them dehydrated though)
Ranch dressing (it feels heavy in my stomach and tastes like chemicals mixed with brass -- homemade chipotle ranch is good though)

Lol, and I thought I hade a narrow pallette. I don't like vinegar much, though some things with a bit mixed in it is ok, like teriyaki sauce.
Ketchup - no way.
Mustard - I never add it but barely tolerable.
Blue cheese - anything with mold in it is off the menu.
Egg Plant - not a fan.
Avacado - tried it once, not again.
Squash - nope.
Pickles - no, because the vinegar.
Any really wet gloppy dishes like curries I don't do.

Mushrooms by the way I really like.

Oddly, a lot of the foods disliked here, I like. Mushrooms, anything as long as they're actually in edible guise (cooked if need be, raw if need be). Raised in Hawaii, so not a lot of foods make me queasy that would someone from an area with a less-diverse diet. Also, ex-military -- not too many picky eaters in that community. 8O

Here are my dislikes... I'm going to skip the reasonably already-disgusting answers (like yellowjacket larvae, which my dad and brother used to knock paper nests down for), and stay with relatively common foods:

-- Baloney. If less processing makes meat healthier and more nutritious, baloney is weaponized. Oddly, being Hawaiian, I loooove mah SPAM, which is pretty much the pork version, in block form. Still, it actually has taste, which is where baloney fails. Because porkfat...

-- Anything made by McDonald's. Swore off it for meals years ago, occasionally had a Big Mac on a roadtrip or two. Even the fries (which used to be my fave) feel like eating crunchy birthday candles now, and anything with beef (and even their sweets) gives me a raging headache, when a Wendy's or JITB or In-N-Out burger, nothing. I guess the documentary on their food was right, bleh...

-- Beef sticks, the snack food. I see that a few are going grassfed, hormone-free whatnot... but seeing that yellow grease ooze out of the nasty ones I used to try back in my youth swore me off them forever. Baloney, smoked and dry-formed... why, when I'll gladly save up for jerky.

-- Ambrosia (and many '50s post-war Great Society dishes, for that matter). Not knocking people who love it, but it seriously turns my appetite from 'oh' to OFF...

-- Ketchup. Ever notice the sugar content of that stuff? May as well pound a can of Coke. Three years in Germany and three in DC swore me off it on fries; gimme sea salt, sharp mustard, or balsamic vinegar, please.

-- Sweet pickle relish. Again, the Germany and East Coast. When I do indulge in the processed meat, it's a Chicago dog or with kraut and deli mustard. I do like pickles to be sour and garlicky, sorry.

-- Fried chicken. Dunno, just outgrew the hankering for it. Never liked wings. Being as old as I am, prolly for the best.

Yep, I am prolly not in the 86th-percentile of hated foods here. Ah well, that's how I'm wired. :)

It would probably be easier to list the foods I DO like than those I don't. But the ones that come to mind that are on my list of things I won't eat include:

Eggplant
Mustard
Mushrooms
Seafood (all kinds)
Liver
Ricotta Cheese
Alfredo Sauce
Anything fruit filled (pies, etc.)
Cream filled donuts
Alcohol
Anything blue that is not an M&M
Gummy candy that is not bears
Sushi
Cottage Cheese
Sports drinks other than orange or lemon lime
Mixed fruit beverages
Anything hot or spicy

I was forced to eat them as a kid. The only thing worse I can think of is head cheese. :eew:

apple strudel and apple pie
carrots (I'll eat them chopped up in stews)
horse meat
squid
roast potatoes
roast beef
aubergine
Angel Delight (it makes me gag)
peanut butter
grapefruit

I love love love mushrooms and seafood in general (except squid).

I also love onions, tomatoes, peas, broccoli and spinach, so there!

Brussel sprouts are quite gross though, even when cooked 'properly'.

Desserts with tonnes of almonds in them and marzipan
Hard icing (or too much soft icing)
Brussel sprouts
Raw celery, awful awful stuff!
Chocolate hazelnut spread on sandwiches, I like it in other things like baked goods and hot chocolate, but not on plain bread
Plain chicken breast. (I like it in breadcrumbs or shaped into sandwich slices or in sauces.)
Plain turkey (ditto)
Most "slabs" of cooked meat (I do however loooove lamb or pork chops and gammon, those are my exceptions.)
Soft pears, when I eat pears they have to be slightly under ripe.
