On March 12, 2012 i bought myself a guinea pig. His name is Lucky and i love him so much. I like to buy chew toys and accessories for his cage. I have enjoyed his company and he makes me so happy. Lucky is a rascal and he makes lots of noise when he chews on his toys. He is also called Little Lucky as a nickname. Lucky hates baths and getting his toenails clipped. Carrots and apples are his favorites to munch on. I spot clean his cage daily because he poops a lot during the day. Every 3 weeks i clean the entire cage and he popcorns. He squeaks whenever he wants my attention or is hungry for food. I check his hay and water bottle daily. I just started using fleece in his cage and i like it. Before the fleece bedding i was using paper pellets which he enjoyed. I am planning on buying him a new cage soon. I ordered Lucky a Halloween costume since it will be his first year.

Guinea pigs are a ton of fun! I've never had one of my own, but had an acquaintance who did. She liked to make hers do laps around its cage by holding a carrot above it. It looked sooo cute waddling around after it.
