Hi, I'm CrystalDreamer59. I'm new here and looking for someone to chat to on this site. I'm a solitary eclectic Wiccan so I highly believe in magic. I am also what is called a crystal child, which is basically a term for someone who is naturally more attuned with their natural psychic abilities. crystal children are often mislabeled as being on the autism spectrum mainly because they prefer to communicate through emotion rather then spoken word leading them to talk later in life. Also crystal children tend to be rather independent minded and are not use to the way of earth society making them seem socially awkward. Crystal children want a world of peace and understanding. As a crystal child I have the ability to see the future in my dreams sometimes along with being able to sense when something is about to happen and the power of empathy. I plan on eventually posting a topic here with more information on crystal children soon.

Please go and ask for attention somewhere else, you actually managed to piss me off so hard that I actually got through the trouble to go and create an account just to rant on this.
You're being lied to, it's just another way of saying someone is different without "hurting" them.
It's just a load of bull, you're just as special as everybody else on earth, just another organism on a floating ball in the middle of space.
Saying you're special only makes people think you're an arrogant bastard.

Though anyone can join this is primarily an Autistic forum. As such it tends to be more science orientated, for it is a serious issue and we need to communicate in mutually acceptable terms as much as possible.

So in my opinion proselytizing of religion or spirtual beliefs is kinda out of place here. There is a sub-forum that lists religion as a topic towards the bottom of the main page, but that is more for discussion not proselytizing.

Feel free to disagree with me. I'm not saying that I'm special in any way. There are many more out there like me, but most don't know it because they give into the mislabel of being on the autism spectrum. If I was saying that I was special I would be saying that I'm the one and only savior, but I'm not. We are all saviors for we were all created by god and goddess however you may believe in them. By the way we all have psychic abilities some are just more attuned with their psychic powers then others sort of like how anyone can do art, but some are more talented at art then others. Being more attuned with your natural psychic ability doesn't make you any more special then someone who isn't.

I doubt posting a topic on such would be a good idea.

So what's with the animosity and lack of acceptance being expressed on this thread? The OP is just looking for a like minded friend. The OP's thoughts and feelings are just as valid as anyone else's. If you don't like their post, fine, you expressed your opinions, but the personal attacks are the real problem IMO.

Anyways, CrystalDreamer59, welcome to WP, I think you'll find most people here are pretty tolerant, you can PM me if you like, I'm pretty open minded. I sure dislike seeing a person beat up on just because someone doesn't agree with them, too much of that in the RW. Haters gonna hate I guess.

Edit- OK I just checked some of the OP's other posts and saying autism isn't real is not cool. Autism is real. You're entitled to your opinions, but this is primarily an autism forum and claiming autism isn't real probably won't get you many friends here. Sorry for my previous rant on this post, I just thought someone was being bullied for no reason. Apparently, the OP is just wanting to anger people here.

You are free to have your own religiously based opinions, but autism is a known neurological disorder, not a spiritual thing. It may change the way a person relates to their faith because of a difference in perception, but autism itself is a disability (and in some cases the disability part is offset by extra ability in some areas as well.) I may disagree with your religious persuasion but I wish you no ill. I do not expect everyone I meet to be the same as me. However, you would be best advised to temper your views on autism with the accepted science if you do not want to start a flame war on here.

I think Zeromancer, though blunt was actually right on the mark here. It's very out of place to try and recruit/convert people to a religious sect in the first place. But to do so by saying autism isn't real and that they have magical powers, etc is in my opinion manipulative, wrong and perhaps dangerous.

What is the OP really after ? Converts ? Worshippers ? Money? Companions in misguided misery ? If they were only looking for friendship there are many ways to do it, without having to resort to spiritual manipulation. With my first post I tried to politely warn them off religious activity, but since they persist I will also report this thread now.
