I'm trying to talk about my issues via the forum and I'm having a hard time actually getting about it. How are y'all capable of talking about your deep thoughts and feelings so candidly with others? To me it's a foreign thing (though I believe I wish to attempt it).

Oh that's a tought question :x A lot of self reflection i think? I've always been very adept at knowing causes and consequences and what i'm thinking and feeling and why and so forth, but i've also had therapy so maybe that helped a lot too, sorry i don't know what i could suggest.

I've always been pretty open myself, maybe you could ask yourself what makes it so so foreign to you? Is it the expressing part? Is it the part of actually telling people :o?

I hope that helps a bit.

Forum is a place where i can be anonymous and be honest with eveyrone, no one knows who I'm but everyone can help me.
In the real life, talking about my problems is not something i do. I keep everything for myself.

I keep it all to myself as well, so maybe it's the sharing with others that gets to me. Just because I can't see you doesn't mean I don't know that you are there after all. I feel somewhat shameful talking about myself I think.

It helps to just post around for a while first. Not about anything serious. Just pop in anywhere. Ask questions, comment, whatever. Lots of us don't feel comfortable for quite a while. After a while you get to know some members, some you'll like, some you won't, but you'll get a feel for different forums, and where you'd be most comfortable posting.

Give it time, and post more! Don't rush it. You'll get there. 8)
