I know how you can fix them, and it won't cost much at all

joealjim, I really like that dress!
if I do get another larger doll, the sprite is up on the list

I personally think they're kind of cute, much prettier with an almost antique/vintage look. Nothing like those Bratz dolls...

Really? First thing I thought when I saw the pics here was "that looks like an Asian version of a Bratz doll."

I'm glad to see there was a discussion during my two year absence...abeit an interesting one!

Yes this is STILL my special interest...my mom did NOT expect me to keep it up for this long but indeed I have! Many dolls have come through my house but I've had two of them for the past two and a half years which is a record!

Meet Artemis...she is a Littlefee Chiwoo:

This is Macchiato...she's my best (resin) friend and is a Chocopuki Cupid:

And this is my newest aquisition...a Minifee Rheia for whom I've been making a shitton of jewelry:

These kind of remind me of some of my own forays into sculpting, I used to make my own ball joints from a flexible clay called Sculpey and make action figures from shows that never merchandised. It was the only artistic type thing I was ever any good at, I can't draw or play music so it was a good creative outlet before I discovered machining. Those look way better than anything I ever made though, I could never figure out how to make the ball joints in such a way that they looked good and moved in the way I wanted.

Dear Reine de la Seine14, macchiatto looks like she could be a rather impish little girl...she is beyond cute!

Dear Kilroy, I am so glad you were able to get those dolls, I had no idea how expen$ive they were until you wrote"$300" ! ! They are so beautiful, I can see why you wanted them so much...Sylkat

Thanks...she really is a handful! Her character is a coffee bean!

Dox...some dolls have really funny looking joints and others are engineered in a way that allowes them to have aesthetically normal looking joints with extreme poseability. My dolls are all from Fairyland which has been known for having the most poseable dolls in BJD-dom right now. What they have done is placed a ball joint at each end of the joint connection to allow for more natural movement (referred to as "double joints"). I can take more detailed phtoos if the mechanics interests you.

I'm still saving up for my first one, a Dream of Doll Shall, who has already informed me that her name is Sophia, Sonia for short, and that she simply must have green eyes and platinum blond hair. I'm so close to having her!

Sonia is here. She's just shy because she doesn't have a lot of clothing yet, just a dress.
