It's a muzzleloading Kentucky percussion rifle, blackpowder, .45 cal (reproduction of a 1700s era one); second hand, but in good condition and at $300 (no ramrod though). Awesome. I've always wanted one, but they tended to run at several hundred dollars+ used at various places, and I ain't wealthy. Will use for target shooting and the odd hunt, Ye Olde style.

Ye only got one shot, so it better count.

I tried some "ultra light" beer from the supermarket today (effectively non-alcoholic); it's actually not bad! I mean, a regular beer is twice as strong as a light to me (taste), and this one is half as strong as the light.... That's pretty awesome.

I will buy that from now on instead of whatever cans of cola are the cheapest.

I really hope that I'll get finished with high school (in two years) and enroll in a university like UCLA/Caltech/whatever good school in SoCal and start auditioning for films. Weird combination, science/medicine and film. I know. But I like acting so what the heck? :wink:
