I would like to change it to this guys signature http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Claude_Trichet He used to be head of the ECB and is on euro notes. But no counterfeiting intended. I really like the signature. Which is this http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Tri ... nature.svg Is it considerd forgery. By the way I live in the USA.
Thankyou

Or better, just read the FAQ referencing this question: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp656132.html#656132

Um... could it be that he means, like, his own handwritten signature? That was my impression of his post, anyway...

The only way a hand-written signature could be represented in a WP signature area is through the use of an image...

No, I mean, he wants to learn how to mimic Trichet's handwriting in his real life signature. Of course, I could be completely off-base with this. Just an alternate interpretation, I guess, lol.

 Oh dear... something I hadn't considered at all.

You could be correct of course - when I see questions here about changing signatures I tend to think of the one at the foot of posts.

Hah, makes sense. You are a mod, after all.

Also, why not, Philpm?

Ah, ok then, sorry for shortening it. By the way, if there's no point to this thread anymore, you can ask a mod to close it.

By the way do you thinks its illegal to mimic a signature if I use my own name with it. Or is it safer to create my own?

If you use your own name, it should be fine.
