I got my prom dress! :D

What do you think of my dress?

Prom seems really fun! Our prom will be on a boat. >.> But it costs 70$.

oh, lightning88 what a lovely frock, and what a great time to spend with your mom getting hair done together! I love makeup and frou frou and all that lace and stuff.

I will tell you a secret, I have a pic of the dress (with me in it) I made for my prom and I have it in my bedroom, in a nice frame and when I am blue I look at it and remember how I felt that night. I will only allow myself to remember the good parts because hey, I'm an aspie and I can mess up making a sandwich!

But my point is, be as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside and shine on you crazy diamond!

The picture sounds like a really great idea! I'll be sure to do that, too! My mom and I are going to do the rest of the stuff (finishing up shopping and getting hair done) this Saturday and I'll get a manicure once it's closer to the prom, which is in two weeks. I'm going to have so much fun! :D I guess my mom figured that she needs to do more things with me rather than just by herself or with the pets. I'm glad she's finally seeing it my way!

I love the dress!! ! It looks like something I would wear, because of the style and the color. (I love bight pink.) I'm glad you are going to prom. I had a blast when I went even though I didn't have date. Going with friends is the best because you will have so much fun!! ! I can't wait to see the photo of you in the dress and all done up.

Thanks! I haven't really thought about the nail polish color yet, but I think I'll probably go with a light pink.

I think so, too! I'll have to have one fake nail due to the whole thumb nail incident, but I doubt anyone will even notice! :)

Do you have a guy friend who could maybe take you? And, you could still hang out with your girlfriends while you're there. The pictures would look so nice -- you in your gorgeous pink dress and him in a black tux with a pink boutonniere. I love the way pink and black looks together! I wasn't allowed to go to prom, when I was in school, but one of my friends/acquaintance went with a guy who had a crush on me, just as friends. I was a little jealous, but I was happy she had someone to take her.

Unfortunately, I don't. The only guy at school I really have constant interaction with is a freshman, so he's not able to go to the prom. Otherwise I probably would go with him! I do have quite a few friends there, so we'll still have a ton of fun.

Thanks! I had just moved into the school district last July, and I couldn't believe how much people have taken a liking to me so quickly! At my last two districts, things didn't really go too well. But everyone really seems like me here! :)
