Nope, looks like you aren't. From what I can gather from these posts, looks like "most" of us that did watch it, watched it for different reasons than the game itself.

Thanks everybody for your responses.

Me & a couple others feel like we're the only straight guys in America who don't watch Superb Owl(kewl points to you if you get that reference) & here's a link to a great song about not watching the game http://thefump.com/fump.php?id=1757

I can't stand football, so the Super Bowl is like the sports equivalent of hell for me. Thank God it only happens once a year.

I feel your pain, I am pretty much alone amongst my friends (I hang out almost exclusively with lesbians) and they don't get how I hate sports

It's kinda weird that I'm into the Seahawks, and the NFL in general, now. This fascination only started a few years ago.

There was a handsome Korean clerk in my neighbourhood store who seemed to only speak to his customers if they were talking about sports. Just so he would also talk to me I started getting into sports, specifically, football. Eventually, he left. Still, I remained attached to watching football and that has never changed.

I've been a fan for many years. :) As a lifelong western WA resident, it's instilled within me.
