Standard airwalk sneakers. The actual pair is for office and better events, the old pair get used for festivals, building facilities, forest-walking, ... And the old-old pair then gets used as gardenwork shoes. (Thats normally, when you cant tell about the origin colour anymore. ^^)

Only mine are black. I can't find a decent image of the black version.

Mine are also very worn and a little muddy. :P

I don't drive, and walk a fair lot, so good boots are important from my standpoint. I mostly wear the black ones (Dr. Martens Men's 1490) because the leather is more lithe and form fitting for comfort on longer walks, and allows much more flexibility to ankle movement, but both have saved me from bad falls in wet weather that wouldn't have gone so well for my bones by finding traction in muddy cement and whatnot. The dark brown ones (Dr. Martens Men's Triumph 1460) are much more cozy when it's cold out, though the leather is much more dense and because of so, ankle flexibility is restricted to mostly moving forward and backward which makes them a little less safe from ankle twisting, so I don't usually choose to put them on if I know it's going to rain. They cost about twice as much as I used to spend on normal shoes, but the sole treads are much more durable and active, and they've yet to show any signs of needing replacement after a year and a half (though I'm sure the black ones could use a good cleaning being my rain boots), opposed to having to be replaced every six months like my old choice in shoes used to have to.

I got so many complements on my $10 Kmart shoes. I just like em cuz they fit my weird feet perfectly. I got light purple ones for Christmas, but they don't fit the same.

Agh, same. I'm a women's US 13.

I ordered these off of the internet, but they costed about $140. More than worth the price, though. :)

Just don't wear red laces with the Doc Martins or lace them a certain way. They are the favorite boot of skin heads and Aryan nation.I was unaware of this tell a family member who was a correctional officer told me.The Black gang members wear Lugz.

Around here = Austria/Germany = Nazi origin area, white laces are the Nazi stuff, while any kind of colourful laces is more of punk, lefty kind and black laces expresses: I dont want to express anything, but that these boots are comfortable. ^^

That's how I always understood it to be.

Also in England coloured laces for some people, are to show which football team they support.
