I actually met one of the members of the band many years ago at a local restaurant but, I chose not to pester the gent cause, I simply felt all people deserve some humanity and privacy..

I didn´t know that "Yankee Doodle Dandy", but just listened to it. It is funny and not as awful as the song I posted.

I'd never heard Grauer Star before, but I found it rather pleasant myself, and I've always found Yankee Doodle Dandy to be a catchy tune

Anyway, what's stuck on my brain right now is Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich's "Master Llewellyn".

"Suicide is Painless" AKA the theme from M*A*S*H*. The...interesting....reason for this actually is not because I was just watching the show, but because on YouTube there was an old laserdisc kareoke video of the song and lyrics. And the video is royally insane! It shows a sick lady and then a guy with Dr. Death on the back of his scrubs shows up with possibly assisted suicide equipment, but then he goes nuts and starts spraying silly string everywhere - all while the music and lyrics are shown on the screen. This makes the lady laugh it cures whatever was with her and she hugs him. I was actually happily singing along until "Dr. Death" suddenly turns into Hawkeye (I guess) and I started laughing. Can you imagine having that on a big plasma screen at a party? :lol:
