I wear shoes inside, I don't put them on furniture or anything though. It's a comfort thing for me I guess but if I went to someone elses house and they are a no shoes house then I'd take them off

I take mine off,but I'm not pushy about other people,I've found that most will take them off if they are muddy. My big pet peeve is people sitting on kitchen counters or tables.Get that butt off my food prep area. :x

I don't wear even socks. I need to feel the floor or carpet under my feet.

I use slippers at home and when going to someone else I often take 2nd pair of socks (fluffy, winter designed) to wear for some extra warmness once I take my shoes off. I hate feeling the cold floor under my feet.

No shoes whenever possible, sandals if it's warm out. If other people wear shoes inside their house, I'll leave mine on.

No shoes inside. I've never wore shoes inside except for public buildings. Almost everyone in Norway takes them off by the door.

I call them sangals. It makes my daughter laugh.

She really shouldn't encourage me.

It's the same in Finland.

My mom is from Korea, where it's customary to remove your shoes before entering a home. This is because having a dirty floor is highly unacceptable, as many Koreans like to sleep and sit on it. So I feel uncomfortable leaving my shoes on in other peoples' homes, even if they're OK with it.

I'm usually barefoot inside my home, or socks depending on the weather.

I'm barefoot most of the time. Always have been, always will be.
When we moved into our current house (with beige carpeting throughout), we made a 'no shoe rule' that everyone must abide by (except like appliance delivery guys or something, we're not unreasonable).

I'm very backwards, I wear shoes inside- usually in the afternoon, for when/if I have to go somewhere- but I like to be outside barefoot. I love feeling grass, asphalt, roads, the creek and forest... I just have to be mindful of where I step.
