Good use of land and resources. I hope this idea spreads to other parts of the country

Strange choice of wording.
"Grow birds"? Really now?
Are they considered a crop now?

Besides... they're stupid things. Geese like picking fights with just about everything. Ducks crap all over everything. Chickens try to make nests in the stupidest places (and sometimes eat their own eggs if they get confused)...

Human beings crap all over our environment too. The way we deal with human waste destroys our environment, Calling birds stupid for doing what is natural for them is a bit lame. What are you so angry about?

Would you prefer a world void of birds? I wouldn't. And the term "growing birds"9 taken from the article is not meant to be taken literally. It is a reference to helping to increase the growth of bird populations. Making migration easier for birds only makes sense to me. I appreciate the beauty of birds.

Birds are not stupid,I've raised all kinds. We had a pet English Game rooster that would crow on command for a piece of bread.
Geese are better watchdogs than a dog.
To stop a chicken from eating eggs make sure they have oyster shell and a dark place to lay.
I've raised quail and released them, hope to do that again.I love to hear the call of a Bob White.

Modern birds have existed for over a hundred million years... more than 500 times longer than humans... they must be doing something right.

Meanwhile, humans are on the verge of killing themselves off.

Yeah.... we're so intelligent!
