If I was a cube, I would not look like an octahedron. Which, of course, does not rule out the possibility that there are cubes who look like octahedrons. Also, there may be other geometrical solids that resemble, say, nonahedrons. Or undecahedrons, dodecahedrons, what ever hedrons. You may have guessed that I am a hedron fan.

There are moments when I seriously doubt my mental state.

I wouldn't hold my breath for most people to accept that. As far as I know, the usual practice when you claim something is to assume you want it to be true, to judge you personally for it, and not to care at all about your reasons for stating it.
