This is my 27th year working in education. I don't know how I have done it. If I had to go back and start over, I don't think I could.

Bought a new rifle today (different to what I spoke of before):



I don't have a small caliber high velocity dedicated hunting rifle for wild dogs; it's actually the most practical rifle I now own for where I live and to protect the farm.

It's a H&R Handi Rifle in .22-250 Remington. Will put dogs down instantly, and since it's so high velocity, the chance of a ricochet is small if I have to take an unplanned shot.

$300 (freaking new, man!)

I had a very strange day today.

My mother thinks we should get a couple of cows (Dexter ones). I think she thinks I need someone to talk to in person and have some animal friends.

I suppose I would technically be a cowboy then. Which sounds pretty cool. And I do like cows.

I can't decide what colour stang I want (in my dreams that is). There's plenty to choose from but dare I say none of them truly appeal to me.

I did want black but I hear black is hard to keep pristine (calcified water beading and swirls stand out more). Guard is kinda ok but it's too close to dark silver. Why did they not carry over kona blue? I mean, they first advertised the 3d renders in that colour. Talk about false advertising. The remaining selection of colours aren't very classy. I guess the orange is ok.

That's right, she's a cow farmer. That's cool.

They're generally docile and friendly things (other than a randy bull), and the Dexter cows are pretty awesome as they're so short (they still have the big cow head though). Those types also make good pets, and they eat about 1/3 of a normal cow.

We have paddocks and everything (just need to tighten the wire on the fences), due to previous horse ownership.

The X-Files is such a great show. Going through it now (finished episode 1).

The Pilot is a connotation of the whole thing.

It's a bit impossible to test drive cars if car places don't even have a demo model in the yard I think the only car I'd be able to test locally is the XR6T.

How am I supposed to get the feel of a car in a test drive if I have no choice but to take it in a town/city I'm unfamiliar with. I can't think of anything worse than test driving a car in Sydney
