So unpopular I didn't even post here for a while!

Good to see you, Fred.

There was a time here at the WrongPlanet that I felt like I was fairly popular. It was soon after I was diagnosed with Asperger's, and I posted a lot divulging my beliefs about autism and how it worked in my life. I then took a couple breaks from the WrongPlanet, and I never felt like I got back into that groove the way I had been before. I am not here for popularity, but it's just an opinionated observation of mine. I feel like I am kind of in the far corners of the WrongPlanet (in the room, but just barely).

I'm really glad I found this particular forum but I joined WP about a week ago, I didnt necessarily join to be popular but I wanted to get noticed. So far "putting myself out there" has led me nowhere. I was on a chat room the other day and I was actually teased (I'm assuming those are the populars that everyone refers too.) The external world doesnt have much to offer me either in terms of friendship and such. I came to WP at the suggestion of someone else for exactly the purpose of finding some potential friends. I have a few friends but theyre NTs and they dont understand how I operate, although. They still accept me for who I am. I just want the chance to be myself and express myself to those who can naturally understand me. Ifeel left out and alone here. I hope iI'm not the only one that hasbeen experiencing this.

If theres anyone in the chicagoland area tthats interested in a new friend. I'm here!
