Hmm... Sounds a lot like me. My mom has pointed out my extreme level of Loyalty to whomever I associate with. Probably part of the reason I connect with Rainbow Dash soo much.

Whenever I stand on the beach and look out at the horizon, I often think of it as an invisible barrier between 2 elements (Water and Air), separated only until Water joins Air as a vapor in a continuous cycle from Sky to Earth to Ocean and then back again as it has for millenia and will continue to do until the Apocalypse.
