I set the air-conditioner temperature to 18 degrees and now my room is freezing. When I go outside of the room it's nice and warm.

Did you know, it takes 8½ minutes for light to reach Terra from the Sun? It could have blown up 7 minutes ago and we wouldn't know about it for another minute and a half!

... Most of that energy goes off into space, but about 1.74 x 1017 watts strikes the earth. (ie: 174,000,000,000,000,000, or 174 quadrillion watts):

Without it, we're DEAD!

Imagine if we suddenly spun off course or the Sun went out!
