Between now and March, I'll only get to spend one Saturday at home all day, mostly alone.

Ironically, that day is Valentine's Day.

If I am popular, I feel there is something wrong!

I'm new to WP, but something feels right about this thread. I probably belong here. It was my first night in Spanish I, I was spazzing out, I bet I didn't make myself popular there. I didn't know it was going to be so interactive, and the professor would be so high energy. I really like lecture classes the best, but too late switch to online.

Me too, one time I just really wanted Japanese food and went with this guy from work (when I did work). I told him that and how I felt about Valentine's Day. I guess, he didn't get it and thought it was a date. Another job we passed out fake flowers on Valentine's Day, like creepy weird men didn't hit on us enough. Yuck.

This is the perfect thread for me to announce I'm a newbie and always have my foot in my mouth. No matter how hard I try to say the right thing it always comes out wrong and makes life more difficult than it should be.

I feel this way allot of the time as well. I've come to realize that I love listening to one single artists particular album over and over. I will listen to that album at least 500+ times (not even joking), while sifting through their other music as and co-labs as well. My current obsession is Savant's Protos, but I'm growing to understand that even with the exceptionally massive output of music he has created that I am losing interest increasingly.

You're not alone in your struggle friend.

Welcome Possum! Don't worry! Foot-in-mouth disease is not necessarily an indicator of wrongness. It is more likely because you don't have a political predilection to say what is expected. Something to be avoided at great cost, usually.

All of these forums I have come across have a "politically correct" cadre with the purpose of maintaining the "status quo". Don't be afraid of them... they're all bluster and waffle.

I've always been myself as, that has made me the outsider well then I'm glad I'm not the cookie cutter type of persons like everyone else..

Thanks for the hearty welcome!

Some of the other forums designed to attract us are so dull and there's very little in the way of real conversation either. Most of it is filled with comments of the "be cheerful and don't give up" nature which I find a bit too sugary at the best of times.
Offering support to someone when it's needed is good and it's helpful too and I'm all for it but can we please leave the unicorns and rainbows in childrens storybooks where they belong.

I'm an adult and I want adult conversation not the piffling rubbish that's common on some of the other forums I've registered with and abandoned rapidly.

You and me both and it's preferable to the alternative.

Nice to finally find a place where I can be me.

And it's good to meet you guys too.

I am here because I find popularity overrated, and would rather be obscure.
