My creative accounts come up, but that's about all. I'm a bit skeptical though, surely I've left a bigger footprint than a few Soundcloud accounts? I'm sure that the 'deeper' searches available to employers come up with more, though I've tried a few of the free ones and didn't come up with too much other than that I was employed by a certain company in the past. That's not entirely a bad thing as it lists me as a team member in a fairly reputable organisation.

I've never used my full name (either first or last) but rather a combination of the two tho my actual full name has been linked to 3 obituaries my grandmother's my godmother and my mother.

Goddamit!! There's an article about me in the news and a page about me on the local police website. I had no idea. It's even got my picture and everything. It's a really bad picture too. I've got to get them to get rid of it.

In my opinion, don't ever use your name on the internet if at all possible.

I'm a bit on the paranoid side so you might want to keep that in mind. I get paranoid that people are reading my posts here, because you know, people actually be reading them.... but why would they care? And if they really care, they would tell me right?

I have a ridiculously generic name. I'm just finding a ton of old, 80+ people; obituaries, arrest records and what not. No sign of me. I used both DuckDuckGo and Google.

I only found one website that is relevant to me. It was my former colleague's professional website where he mentions me as a referee. All the other websites that came up have nothing to do with me. They just happen to have someone with my first name, another person with my surname etc in them. I'm quite relieved to see that.

I get a mathematical proof I wrote in college, which one of my professors published to her web page; and a few tech-support oriented social media postings.

Google search "corrected" my first name but it comes up with a holiday resort in a town in the USA and reviews by people of the resort. It also comes up with a list of Chinese people who share the same Chinese name as me.

Plenty of hits. None of them related to me though.
