I know I am. Although snow is pretty to look at, it can be frustrating to deal with. I don't like how it messes up the roads bad to cause traffic and accidents, and yesterday, my fiancé almost had an accident pulling in our driveway because of the snow.

Personally, I think it should only snow two days of the year - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - and melt soon after. Anyone else sick of the snow/looking forward to warmer weather?

Definitely looking forward to spring myself. I don't mind driving in snow, but black ice is tricky. A good vehicle for handling in snow makes a huge difference.

GIVE ME SNOW NOW! havent seen in over a decade except on tv. we only get rain in winter and killer heat in summer.

you're sick of snow, and i want some. pick up some and mail it to me. this way you'll have less and i'll get some.

snow is beautiful and soothing, and i can watch it flutter gracefully to the ground and feel so calm. i love the sound it makes when you step on it.

We never get snow where I am. I haven't seen snow for many years. I kind of miss it. But realistically I know snow causes a lot of problems. So I guess I'm glad our winter here is rather mild. I'd say two or three snowy days per year would be nice. More than that would be annoying.

I hate the white ugly thing.

It's cold, sticks to everything, makes the whole world gray, hurts my eyes, prevents me from seeing the stars(light pollution, high humidity) and I never know what I step at when I try to walk. There is a bunch of scary things under snow, such as dogs poops...

I prefer even freezing temperatures(such as -10, -20 or even -30*C ) without any snow to the "warm" temperature of -5 to +5*C with snow all over the place. And I am actually happy when it is raining in winter because the more it rains the more of the snow melts and the more grass I can see.

Snow looks nice when it is snowing but it should just hit the ground and melt in my opinion, staying no longer than a single night.

I loved the winter a year ago. We had only a little over 1 week of snow (and a few weeks of under -10*C freezing temperatures) where I live. It was an anomaly, usually we have 3-5 months of snow.

This year it is a bit worse - the snow is there since Christmas. But it melted a few times already just to fall again after a few snow-less days and there was almost no single day of freezing temperature under -10*C so I hope for a fast spring this year too. It might be a new trend.

We've been exceptionally fortunate where I live in East-Central Illinois, this winter -- just a few inches of snow has fallen. Last year two or three feet had fallen by this time.

I'd love to spend a winter in Houghton, Michigan. As I understand it, they average about 180 to 200 inches of snow each year.

I grew up in an area that didn't get snow. I didn't really experience snow till I moved to Vermont a couple years ago. I don't like it & wish it would stop & melt so I could start walking again; I've been gaining weight.

I'm looking forward to sunlight more than anything else. Sometimes there's none for several days during the winter.

What on earth is this 'snow' stuff? :?

I think I once waded through a couple of centimeters of snow once, around 4 years ago. I'm from the California coast, we're starved of pretty much any precipitation here (yes, the occasional shower will not itself fix a catastrophic drought).

really, the only time the white flakes fall anywhere near my town, is every few years, if certain conditions unknown to me are met then maybe, we will get a few flakes up on the mountains. even then they're more transient than nothing, they vanish within a day or two. last time i can pinpoint exactly is the winter of 2008-2009, but there may have been some more recently, further back north maybe. the san gabriel mountains 100 miles-ish to the south, in LA are snowed more often.

Image

^santa ynez mountains. they provide a dramatic enough backdrop to the city even without any snow.

so, no, i am not 'sick' of it by any means. i wish i could receive truckloads of snow and have them dumped in my yard, and i would try my best to make a certain tiger and blonde boy proud.

already i'm finding myself wearing thinner clothes. i can't wear gloves all day anymore (not comfortably, anyway). i want to be able so sit at the kitchen table in the early morning, streets illuminated by cold artificial lights and watch the flakes gently float down to earth. hot chocolate too....yeah, i know i'm romanticizing. i just want snow for one day, damnit! sun sun sun gets old pretty damn fast!

it is too soon. :ninja:

I doubt if I've seen snow more than five times.

I hate all weather in general, though.
