a raccoon tried to chase me into my own house! I shot it in both eyes with a blast of ammonia and that didn't even faze it, though it did stop trying to bully me.

...I once read that , during Hitler's time as head of Germany , one of his big guys - Gobbels ? - set out to introduce the raccoon , which is biologicallye xclusive in the wilds to North America , to Germany's wilds , it was a project of Herr Gobbels ~ and that it turned out badly , as many of these " introduce ______ " ( Starlings , anyone ? Kudzu ?) attempts appear to do , it seems .
Anybody know more about this :) ?????????

I relate to most animals. I was touched by a small group of raccoons trying to cross the street. One did not make it and its peers waited on the side of the road seemingly puzzled while one of the group kept trying to reach the downed raccoon. I saw this happen with birds, also.

I relate very much to raccoons! Of course, I'm a raccoon furry lifestyler, so that's to be expected. Anyway, raccoons are intelligent, curious, persistent, and moderately reclusive, and I am all of those things. I've had a natural affinity for raccoons since at least my teenage years.
