It is sunshiny, and there are a few small clouds speckling the sky. It is a bit windy but nothing too terrible. Although it is warm enough to cause the snow and ice to begin melting, it is still cold enough to feel uncomfortable. The air is dry and crisp.

Close to +5 °C. Sunny. All sky is blue. Absolutely no wind, not a single twig is moving.

Quiet. I cannot even hear the normal traffic sounds from a nearby freeway. Strange, normally the winter tires make some noise. Must be the wind direction, if any.

Can this bright spot in the west be Venus? Setting with the Sun? If it were Venus, shouldn't it be dark, the sun shining from behind? It must be Jupiter, then. However, can Jupiter be this bright, shouldn't the same Sun illuminate the opposite side? I am not sure and I don't know why.

Wait. My Stellarium software says it is Venus. Now I have a problem.
