I'd like to live somewhere along the northern English countryside and take a train down to London for a few hours, every Friday before the busy weekends start.

I'll swap you then; I'm moving to Lancaster soon which is right below Cumbria, the Lake District i.e. the prototypical example of Northern English Countryside

I don't want to stay here, I want to go back to Bahia!

Well, this is an ancient song, and I love Bahia, anyway I am good here.

I would live right here in Santa Maria, CA. I've been to other places, and didn't care for them.

In my perfect world I would be able to bring Minnesota to the beach. I LOVE  the beach.

While we had to work Minnesota-closer to family.

If we could live w/out working THE BEACH. :D :D :D

If I could live anywhere I'd live anywhere but the corrupt city of Chicago which I now live in. I'd live somewhere with warm weather and sunshine at least 270 days a year that doesn't get hurricanes (sorry Florida). California or Hawaii would be real nice!

It's nice up in Cumbria but it depends where you want to go. It can get quite isolated up there. Where I live you have the Lake District an hour's drive north and the big cities of Manchester and Liverpool an hour's drive south. Also we have some lovely countryside here.

There's so much lovely countryside up in Cumbria - the same can be said for much of North Yorkshire too, with its pleasant market towns. I love it over there. :)

Right where I live now, in southern New Zealand.
