Dogs can be annoying but they are still great animals. My dog is always there for me when I'm sad. Cat's however, tend to find better things to do than hang out with their owners.

Not always.

I prefer most animals over cats, they just irritate me for some reason. I've had a fair amount of animals over the years from dogs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, gerbills, frogs, pigeons and other small birds. I've never had a cat nor want one.

There should be a name for that. You clearly have some kind of mental illness.

I don't like dog jumping up, barking, or licking me. I like to have dog to go on long walks with though, feels safer then.
I pefer cats though, however I like rats eve more than cats.
A gecko would be cool though..

I like dogs but, because I am a short person, I couldn't have a really big one. Also, housebreaking a puppy would be a major headache. I love cats. They are fun, they are easy to care for, use a litterbox and don't do ridiculous tricks. When cats play, it is natural. I love to watch cat videos much more than I like dog ones. The dogs do boring, scripted tricks their humans teach them. Cats follow their own agenda.

I hate when dogs poop on the sidewalk and their owners don't clean it up. My dog is more like a cat. He will discreetly back his butt up into a bush and do his business. He has never pooped on the sidewalk.

We have always had animals, so I don't discriminate against any of them. Cats, however, are my favorites. I couldn't have a mouse or a rat because their maximum life expectancy is much shorter than that of the average cat. Cats, especially Siamese, can live between 15-20 years-and more.

Cats should rule the world. And enslave all humans. Apart from those of us who have cats.

My mother and I are alive today because a cat performed just such an act.

Doggies are wonderful, the pinnacle of creation. They are intelligent, loyal, and one of the very few species of mammal wherein the father plays a loving role in child raising. Most mammal dads eat their own kids!

Am I the only person in the world who likes cats and dogs equally?

I happen to love dogs. The dog I have is quite loving and friendly to everybody, and when he's not doing that he lays around on the chair. He's been really good and he's easy to train too. I have no complaints about him.

Cats can be cool too though. I'm open to the idea of owning one one day.
