I guess these people walking in must be general hookers. Or, are they hookers for generals? Or, is that entrance generally for hookers?

Rotenberg, since it's too easy to morph into "Rotten Burger".

"Crapper", for obvious reasons.

Wikipedia wrote:
Thomas Crapper (baptised 28 September 1836; died 27 January 1910) was a plumber who founded Thomas Crapper & Co in London. Contrary to widespread misconceptions, Crapper did not invent the flush toilet. He did, however, do much to increase the popularity of the toilet, ... He was noted for the quality of his products and received several royal warrants.

Out of the usual profanities or .. Mulder. Sure I would hear about it all day long.

Knew a dentist called Dr.Fang, had a doctor named Dr.Dedman.Had some neighbor's with the last name Pigg.
The last name in the phone book was Zachery Zzwert.I felt sorry for him, going to be called last in anything alphabetical.Knew a lady named Ruby Stone and a Rose Bush. These folks have long passed on so I don't feel any worry about posting their full names.

I've never thought much of last names I'd rather not have. Mostly just first names, several of which are that of female Disney villains. Cruella, Maleficent, Ursula, Morgana (Ursula's sister).

Except for Cruella DeVille, there aren't many female Disney villains with both first and last names. That I know of, anyway.

I once saw Butz listed in the phone book. I laughed because of The Simpson's where Moe says, "Is there a Butz here, Seymour Butz?"

Gotobed.

Mr. Dennis Gotobed once hosted an English course for adults in Finland. Even when I was young and not so good at English, I kept wondering if his name is real. It was. Years later, I learned that there are no limits as to what counts as a surname in English. All these color names -- White, Black, Green, Gray, Brown (is anyone called Lilac?) -- sound weird to Scandinavian ears. And an acquintance who wished to change their gypsy-related surname to Citroen. Yes, Citroen, like the French car. Putitin seems to be a valid surname years before the world ever heard about Vladimir Putin.

The Citroen car was named after Andre Citroen, who developed the Citroen car company.

My mom knew a Rosy Butt.

When I was growing up there was a Neale Down in the phone book.

Th membership list of my mom's church has someone whose surname is Flucker.

On Engrish.com there was a photo of a lady named Ms. Porn. People are still joking about it, especially when something raunchy-sounding comes up.

What real-life surname would you absolutely change?

Change "Lipschitz", for example. Yes, it is a real-life surname.

The doctor in Rugrats was called "Lipschitz". Although the characters pronounced it more like "lip sh*ts".

I'd rather not have "Smith", any of the "-bergs", or other common ones.

A local bus company is owned by the Soul family, and was founded by someone called Robert Soul. On its sign it used to say 'R Soul Coaches'; they even used to answer the phone with 'R Soul Coaches, can I help you?'

Amazingly enough, they didn't realize what this sounded like until someone told them.
