I didn't like it growing up because
A. It is mostly a last name
B. Not many people 4 in my lifetime that I've heard of have it as a first name.

Now I love it.

My name is Anastasia. I like it because it's unique like me; not a lot of people around here are named Anastasia. Plus it can easily be shortened to Ana, which is simple and sensible. I think my mom chose the perfect name for me. ^^

I dislike my old names since they are feminine, and I've changed them all except my last name. Well I haven't changed them legally yet, but I usually go by Alexander, or Alex, but my friends call me Dorian. I like both of them.

I like my name a lot and I feel that it suits me, so I picked yes.

However, my name is very unusual, it is from a different culture and is not even common in that culture, so it stands out a lot. People are frequently asking me where I am from and what it means and what language it is and so on, and I really really don't like that. I don't want to give people who I don't really know my life's history, but I'm also not very good at knowing how to not answer questions without being rude, which I don't want to be.

I would definitely say be careful before giving children very unusual names, because even though I love my name it has certainly added stress to my life.

I like mine, as I picked it for very specific and very over-thought reasons.
However it is problematic sometimes as it's a bit uncommon and I don't speak very well, so it usually gets misinterpreted and I have to repeat myself a lot. People often ask "is that short for something?"
No. No it isn't. :P

Not particularly but it's the only name I've ever had, it's not something I'd ever change because I don't identify by any other name.

The only problem with my 'new' name is that a lot of people in the English speaking world can't pronounce it!

My name is Ezra Shea and I like it. Others seem to as well.

Shea is my middle name, not my last.
My family usually calls me Shea instead of Ezra as a nickname.
Most others call me Ez as a nickname.

I love that name. Very pretty.

I like my name but also become annoyed because rarely know how to pronounce it. I just tell people "Bob" when I get to go food orders.

My mother certainly didn't pick the perfect name for me!

Thank you~. ^^

People often spell my name wrong, but I just say Ana if I'm worried about that.

To make my name easier, I use 'Annie'.

I do like my name. It's Emily. Without me being from Great Britain or America I've always been connected to the English language.

See I'd love to just shorten my name but I can't really shorten Jeanne, french pronunciation, so I'm just sorta stuck with Bob. There ya go, love your name all the more. :D
