online things are sold because of volume, good copy and also creating some sort of image.

so you need to write more, make sure what you say appeals to your audience, and get an original avatar.

Well maybe. That's what it says in my copywriting books. I haven't got the foggiest. I used to be the most prolific post on board. I didn't really feel i was talking to anyone in particular. I don't think anyone really noticed I don't post there anymore.

Whine and cry all the time about how you don't have any friends and then people will feel sorry for you and be your friend.

No idea. Why would you want to be popular?

I think, most importantly, be yourself.

being popular in some site is something stupid .

Don't become popular here at the expense of your life.

Someone once said to me at work 'You're not here to try and be popular, you know'.
He didn't realise of course that I wasn't trying to be popular,I was just naturally charming and witty.

I think a person who wants to be more well known needs a users name that is
easy to remember and spell. They need an avatar with their own photo (or atleast of a person I think). Then they need memorable posts. Without all 3 its hard for me to remember a person very well. With atleast 2 of those you might stand a small chance. With just one unlikely.
