I am going to bed, goodnight.

Just watched the first two episodes of Stranger Things, its quite good on Netflix if you have it but its not worth getting a Netflix over. I am about ready to cancel my Netflix.

I like it when I stir my coffee and it looks like a spiral galaxy

When I think of the few people in life who have befriended me, they remind me of tumbleweeds.

My hair is the color of tumbleweeds.

I didn't know they had tumbleweeds in Australia; I thought it was a US desert thing.

They are, but I still know what they are and can see the likeness between them and how people blow into and out of my life without me barely noticing. Some have made an impression but not many.

It's been hot recently---but now it's relatively pleasant. High of 28, low of 21. With little humidity.

No tumbleweeds here.

Or here :) it's been quite cool here and it's raining at the moment. It's supposed to be 14°C but it feels colder to me.

That's pretty cold for Sydney. Seems somewhat Melbourne-ish

I wouldn't know. I've never been there. I've hardly been out of NSW :(

It's 11:42pm and I've got to go to work tomorrow. I've got to go to sleep now, if I can. Boo's snoring. Strange cat.

Ninight Kraftie. Talk to you tomorrow.

Even the homeless have to do the census next week!

To paraphrase the ABS; "If you have no fixed address we will have magical ABS employed fairies visiting homeless congregation points to sprinkle you with census forms and pixie dust! PS. if you don't do the census we will fine you $180" :x

You probably need to ask that to someone who knows Canadian labour-laws and things related to sick days.

I hear a distinct strange bird outside my window; I want to go out to investigate as i'm curious what it looks like. I'm imagining a tropical bird even though I am in the city. Unfortunately, I cant investigate because I am at work and there are rules. Perhaps maybe at lunch I'll go investigate and will try to take a picture...if this special bird decides to stay around for another hour.
