I'm tired of all of the anti-Christian talk going on, so I decided to start a thread for Christians here so they can have a place to come to for support and uplifting news. Feel free to post any Christian minister that you listen to, any of your favorite quotes from the Bible, etc.

I'm starting by posting a broadcast from today by Jack Van Impe who is a Christian minister. This is one of the ministers who I have decided to listen to after I left the Catholic Church. I hope you enjoy him and Rexella as much as I do.

That makes me cry, Mr. A. I feel like I'm finally in the choir - something I have always wanted, but never passed with my voice. It reminds me of the masses that I went to. Me and Ma really miss Church.

Adamantium has the right idea, music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.

I will get back to you on the Russia thread and the petrodollar, but I have just flown in and I am half dead.

I've been Catholic my whole life. Now I see myself as Christian.

I've been a Lutheran for 14 years, but tend to take an independent path.

Elvis, singing Gospel, has, at times, made me cry like a baby.....

.....and this song by him, can nearly bring me to my knees.

I'm glad to find this thread.
I was raised Jewish. Now a Christian.
Though I have played many types of music, Gospel is among my favorites.

Love and prayers

I had the father of a friend tell me I should read the Bible, particularly the gospels. "Little else matters, and churches end up messing things up anyway," he said. A little disarmed about his bluntness, I waited many years before I began reading. He was right. It is amazing how even Christians get the Bible backwards in some cases.

For all you Christians, here is Jack Van Impe with this weeks message.

He talks about how an upcoming war will be with the US and Russia, China, North Korea and Iran. He brings up news stories that are telling about it now and also how Bible quotes predict WW3. From what I have been told, the US is no longer talked about in the Bible after a certain time. This would follow with Jesus saying that the End would not be by water.

I've been in Russia a week ago.
This country is really really Christian, church at every corner, people walking in and out all the time. Too bad there's so much inamosity between US and Russia (cause Islamic State, Al Qaida etc is laughing third party)

My issue with religion is that I am super super cynical, and while I really enjoy the morals and virtues contained within Christian texts, I can't find solid concrete evidence to support any of it. Does anyone have any suggestions that I could look to to 'find' (I suppose this is the right word) faith?

Thanks!
