I loved Easter as a kid, but I hated when my mom put me & my sister in matching outfits. I did have fun once, I played baseball with my family.

For me, it is a family get-together. We trade chocolate and other goodies and have a barbecue lunch. The weather gets to about 25C so we have to make sure the chocolate doesn't melt.

This year it took me a day to recover.

yesterday was easter. it does not matter to me. personally i do not celebrate it. and it's on sunday. some things were closed - nordstroms, Ulta. but enough things were open not to affect me.

public transportation was per usual, b/c it was on sunday.

anyways, it would be more fair if jewish, buddhist, and muslim holidays got an equal (or at least some sort of) representation in terms of legal holidays.

but whatever.

:|

for 34 years, i have coped with living in the united states. not everyone is christian. but everyone has to deal with "in God we trust" on coins. and other places where  separation of church and state :skull: allegedly does not apply.

but, who am i?

i am nobody. i am not a person. nobody cares about me. thus, i ain't got neither rights nor emotions.

It's OK I guess. I liked it alot more when I was a kid cuz I got out of school & got candy & usually some kind of toy.

I hate everything to do with public holidays and holidays.
Disruptive for no good reason. Saturday was nothing special, and there were still disruptions. Expected to see relations I don't like and would rather not see.
It's annoying that Christianity took it over and claimed it Christian when as specified, it had nothing to do with Jesus originally.
