Why is it that NTs always have "hobbies" and "favorite pastimes", but aspies only have "obsessions"?

They are only obsessions when they become unhealthy and harmful to the aspie and other people. If they harmless, then they are "special interests", and that is what they should be called by NTs and autistic people alike.

Love found, not lost.

Yeah connotation versus denotation

Double standards

Likewise when I do something someone does not like, they have the nerve to tell me that it is "disrespectful" or "people don't like it". But when I try to tell them that they did something i did not like, they have the nerve to tell me that "people do it all the time.". And they have the nerve to interrupt me and say "huh" and "what" instead of "excuse me".

He/she acted like he/she represented "people" and I am not "people".

The risk of being slandered, shunned, persecuted, alienated, outweighing the possibility of a situation changing, if one were to try to change it.

Yeah almost every situation, it appears that the chances of favorable change are much smaller than the chances of unfavorable change. If and when I try to rectify a wrong. A situation.

And bad changes often are more powerful and last longer than good changes

And there are an unlimited number of methods of failure that I failed to predict. And should have predicted

But

Hey I ain't smart, neurotypical, socially popular, or functionally powerful. psychic or telepathic

:skull:

:nerdy:

:jester:

Quite frankly sometimes it seems that I am bound for disaster sooner or later and I can't prevent, reduce or delay it no matter what I do

So why should I waste energy doing anything

And what is so great about "reality" anyways?

Reality is

Racism, sexism, homophobia, sizeism, classism. Materialism, superficiality. Mental illness. Developmental disabilities. Autism. Clinical depression. Injustice.

"Reality" is that there ain't no law that says precious lil "people" can't act entitled, self important, condescending, impatient.

And if there was a law then what? Take a videotape and tattle to 911? Civil lawsuit?

Police officers, judges, and juries are people with implicit biases and character weaknesses

Just like everyone else in the solar system

Easy: Casting actors to play the characters in the movie adaptation of your book.
Hard: Actually beginning to write the book.

I'm meeting up today with an old friend old could you call them an ex? who I haven't talked to in over a year. I'm not sure whether that was a good or a bad decision. :(
