Is it common with someone on the spectrum who has autism to eat the same foods to the point where they develop a intolerance to the food? I'm getting that problem because i live alone and i'm starting to realize the same meal for months is not a great idea. But i guess it's a stupid question that i have i only see it talked about with younger lower functioning autistic kids i never see it spoke about with us high functioning adults and sometimes i feel the problems i have are that of children's problems but iv'e some how kept them all my life.

Yes, I eat variations on the same theme almost every night. We seem to do habits in every aspect of life.

I got sick of eating the same foods so much as a kid that I quit eating some foods. I don't get sick of food as an adult but the food is mixed up some. I don't cook but my girlfriend does. It's pretty common for us autistics to be very picky eaters even as adults like I am.
