Why do I still do things I know are stupid and are going to end badly? Am I really in that much denial?

This evening I decided to go to Walmart even though I know it will be insane because tomorrow's a holiday. I figured it might be quieter in the evening because most people have gone home. Wrong. But I haven't been there in a while and I wanted to see if they had something I wanted so I wouldn't have to go buy it on Amazon. Even worse the cab driver on the way over warned me about people jumping into cabs that other people called first and are waiting for and basically stealing their rides. Then he told me a story where about a month ago an elderly lady had called for a cab 4 times but young people kept getting in the cab before she could and leaving. By the time she told the girl who got in the 4th cab that the cab was hers, the girl told her to eff off and go home and die. I was absolutely disgusted. I didn't even want to go shopping anymore but since I was nearly at the store I might as well go in. But the place was utter chaos. The express lane had been closed and I couldn't find what I wanted to buy. So I went back home. A waste of time and money. I'm a stupid worthless loser and I'll never go out by myself again, ever.

I'm unemployed and I'm having a hard time eating.

I’m still sore, my leg & ankle been hurting since I fell down almost 2 weeks ago I guess it going to take more time to heal, I have old bones, I’m 47 going on 120

My girlfriend wants to make a decision that will majorly affect both of us. She knows I'd have major issues with it & she even admits that it could be very bad for her too. One of the issues I have is that it involves other people who have a BAD track record of not following through or not sticking with things. If those people bail which I truly believe they will, we'd be screwed & majorly inconvenienced for nothing. If those people actually do stick with the plan, there will be major issues dealing with them that will stress me & my girlfriend out & be bad for our mental health. Cass told me that she wouldn't make the decision unless I was on board. I told her how I'm against it & some of my reasons why & now I'm in the doghouse & the conversation is not over. Well I'm not changing my mind so trying to have the conversation again is pointless but I guess I could humor her.

Denied an opportunity to demonstrate increasing independence and ability to financially prioritise due to my mother. She means well but she is, bless her, belligerent and set in her ways. I'm exceptionally disappointed but - though I could, and the temptation is extremely strong to do so - I won't go for this opportunity behind her back as I respect her.
So... Yay! Back to my miserable dependence, lack or responsibility and shit-poor self esteem I go.

I shaved the bathroom and obssessed mom to clean her obsessions. It's all very obsessional.

Having to have my browser checked by this site before I can proceed. Why?

I accidentally cut myself with a knife while trying to separate two frozen burger patties. I didn't need stitches, thankfully, but I still wish I hadn't done that.

Also the fact that my wounds haven't healed completely and need about a week, meaning that I will have this wound through Easter. I am so f***ing embarrassed, I might as well have a f***ing black eye.

It seems to be taking my change jar a long time to fill up. It's a big one, 4 times the size as a regular one. I also walked to the casino to see if what time the Bingo palace opened. There isn't even a Bingo palace in the casino yet.
