Perhaps you are tired of Eagle Cams Washington DC but would you have another look?

Look at the majesty of that nest! Look at the "twigs" - almost logs, they're so big - each brought and placed individually by one of the parents. Note the exact colour - same as the feathers. Note the genius engineering skills of the eagle! Right now, the nest is subject to wind and rain, the huge tree is swaying and the nest is as solid as brick. It has ventilation.

With all the constant horrible things on our screens, this nest relieves me and elates me.

That bird seems very happy to be on the top of the world. I'd be happy sitting in a nest on the top of the world, too. No people to deal with. Wait a tick....if I was a bird, I wouldn't be able to enjoy my hobbies.

We have a pair of eagle's that live in front of our house. We get to see their new families every year.

Wow that is cool, I didn't know this was even a thing but it's cool. Might have to follow this to see the chicks when they hatch. Also updating post again it showed the other eagle bringing food to the one on the nest... a fish it looks like.
