I'm not a fan of doughnuts, either. They have way too much sugar and they give me the worst heartburn.

It was revolting. :eew:

Why you mean you put a donut in coffee?
Or just don't like donuts in general ?

Dunkin' Donuts is the name of a chain of American coffee/donut shops. It's basically what Tim Horton's is to us in Canada. Years ago there were a couple of Dunkin' Donut shops where I live, but I didn't like their doughnuts much, either. They tasted like they were made over a week ago.

I never really understood Americans' dunking donuts in their coffee. Cookies yes, but not donuts, they just turn to mush. I guess if they're that dry and tasteless you gotta dunk'em in something.

I never tried dunking donuts in coffee until shortly before the gluten allergy, and I think it's pretty good. Scones are really good, too.

I don't soak them in there, so I wouldn't say they "turn to mush", but you do get crumbs in the bottom of your cup.

There were a few mussels in my paella. Could've done without that...

I’m moving out of town soon so I stopped by a favorite food truck but they changed one of my favorite items and discontinued another one! Their rice balls used to be amazing and savory. But this time they were sweet??? Like, beets on the inside and pineapple glaze on the outside? I took a few bites and left them for someone else (there’s an unfortunately high homeless population; I’m sure someone came by and was glad for them.)

Caviar.

I had an opportunity to try it at work. My taste buds were disturbed.

A piece of an onion. I can't stand onions and I avoid them, but McDonald's forgot to omit them from my cheeseburger and I bit into it before checking it like I usually do (I was hungry) and I was disgusted.

The scrambled eggs in my hotel breakfast this morning tasted weird, I'm sure the milk used in them was 'off'. Someone had also put salt in the pepper pot, which didn't help. £50 per day to stay there, and they can't get stuff like this right...

More like something I drank. This week I bought some pineapple-flavored coconut water, and the stuff is full of little white chunks that I thought at first were bits of coconut or pineapple, but they're not solid. Maybe it's coconut oil, but I don't know. All I do know is that it looks like curdled milk or vomit and I can't enjoy it even if it tastes all right. I can't stop looking at it with suspicion and disgust. So it will probably sit in my fridge until it really is undrinkable or I throw it out, which is either way a waste and very immoral. :(
