Maybe I should turn my PM function off.
It would be the kind thing to do.

i always just figure the conversation has run its course. i rarely worry about keeping the repartee going. i hope you don't turn yours off. PMing you comes i handy from time to time.

Well I'm going nowhere. All I'm doing today is sitting around waiting for a meeting with my boss.

Am I the only one here who absolutely fails at PMs?
Ferris is the only one I've (kind of) messaged long term, only because he loves pain and suffering, I'm sure.

Ditto this. I only even regularly text maybe ten people, probably only 5 or so in a given week. No one expects nor cares to figure out a response to a digital conversation with ole' digital me.

My parents and friend were discussing my fears a few days ago.
They seemed puzzled by it.
All I could think of was 'well, isn't it obvious? After all the trauma I've been through, who wouldn't have issues with fear?'

I also considered what would happen if I tried to 'get rid of' my special interests.
It would mean getting rid of nearly everything I own save some of my clothes, my bed, dresser, desk, and computer, though that last one might also be outed because I use it to listen to music, watch videos, work on my stories, and hang around on WP and Mythic Scribes.

I'm not an ascetic by any stretch of the imagination.

*sigh*

Oh I think it's quite possible to be ascetic & still surrounded by technology. It's a state of mind independent from material concerns. Sure, I just bought a shiny new phone but it's only in order to continue my testing work from the previous ones. I could turn my $500 device into a brick at any time & that just comes with the territory.

My mum used to use that. I've got the last bottle she used, it's a bit of a treasure to me now reminding me of memories.

I tried making my own shampoo with castor oil, olive oil, coconut milk, Castile soap and honey.
It was a roaring failure.

I wonder if I'll still be using this site in ten years time?
