When creating anything, always remember the fable about the man, the boy, and the donkey. [If you try pleasing everyone, well...]

Today, I double pierced both ears and added a third piercing to the right one. For some reason I felt I had to have an odd number, but not three. Yup, I've got issues.

I'd do the same! I don't like even numbers and I especially love 5's.
Your choice sounds balanced, like artwork by Mondrian!

Was listening to this while going through the hideous ordeal of job searching.

:| Yes, I realize listening to socio-politics while job searching is a demotivational, but I would rather do it while job searching than after b/c of how I rarely feel comfortable enough to take action in the first place.

The campus was busy today. Now I am home and in a warm room.

"Sesame Street" has won 167 Emmys and 8 Grammys. An estimated 77 million Americans watched the show as children.

Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Sherlock Holmes on "Sherlock," is distantly related to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who created the character.

Know what I hate most about scifi movies set in space? The aliens always know earth languages like English. And every one of them always speaks that exact language as if English (or Japanese if you want to go by Scifi Anime) is the only known language in the universe!

There are more possible positions in a chess game than atoms in the observable universe.

In 1959, after a recommendation from Arthur Obermayer, Asimov's friend and a scientist on the U.S. missile protection project, Asimov was approached by DARPA to join Obermayer's team. Asimov declined on the grounds that his ability to write freely would be impaired should he receive classified information. However, he did submit a paper to DARPA titled "On Creativity" containing ideas on how government-based science projects could encourage team members to think more creatively.

meanwhile......dr Peterson sticks to bourgois- feminist fantasy that 50 years ago women and men had never (whatsoever) ever worked together in any way

logical, if you think psychology is a science
and science is always totally right
(deduce the thinktank from here?)

#1: I'm seeing my osteopath today, and I'll get him to do a little extra acupuncture for Ferris' sake. 8O

#2: I'm going to knock on the door of the house I lived in from 0 - 5. My father built the house, and I want to tell the owners that I'm buying the house should they ever decide to sell. In my dreams, they'll invite me in for tea. I don't remember a single thing about the interior of my house and there are no photos. Apparently the people did know and respect my father, so it shouldn't be too hard to explain who I am. I'm going to take a couple photos of me as a four year old in the front garden.

Wish me luck.
