On the park question - Greenwich Park, definitely.

Train station - London Paddington or Manchester Piccadilly

When was the last time you went into a pub or bar?

You're righ - too many pot smokers in Hyde Park.

I had half a Foster's in a pub in Westminster earlier this evening.

At what age did you have your first alcoholic drink?

Yes, but no player. I do have wax cylinders and celluloid cylinders for an Edison phonograph, and 78rpm shellac records for a gramophone.

Same question.

No, though I want to get into records.

How many CDs do you own?

(Borromeo): I've got lots of vinyl LPs that I bought in the 1980s, but haven't played any of them for around 20 years. Not sure my 1981 vintage turntable and amp would still function today, and I'd have to buy a new pair of speakers. Kudos to you for owning wax cylinders, btw!

(Prometheus): I only own about 10 CDs.

Do you own any audio cassettes?

Yes, I have a case of them in the loft, but no devices left to play them on. The most prized one up there is this gem.

Same question.

No, though I have several hundred CDs, almost entirely classical.

(synchromystic): Lots of them, might actually get round to listening to them again sometime. Haven't done so for around 20 years.

(Prometheus): Don't really rate politicians,of whatever era. Just to cause maximum irritation, I'll say Lord Liverpool....

Who's your favourite present-day British politician?

Jacob Rees-Mogg, lol.

Whom do you rate more highly - Napoleon or Wellington?

Probably Napoleon. He seems to have had a logical, centralizing basis to his domestic political agenda, and I approve of that in an era when it seems practically de rigeur to be seen to be promoting decentralization, devolution, 'localism' and other assorted nonsense.

Whom do you rate more highly - Attlee or Churchill?
