WP Members You Miss?

I really don't think BDavro meant any harm by what he said. He isn't the type to spread rumours, he really isn't malicious in any way. I think he's a sweetheart.

There's a member who was still active when I first joined but became inactive shortly thereafter. At the time, I was new to WP and unaware of some of the "traditions".

So this member was a young woman, and what's noteworthy to me is that some time after she joined, she developed a serious IRL relationship with a male member who joined later. This has happened more than once in the past (although I don't think it has happened very much at all within the last 5 years) but what is even more noteworthy is that their courtship was conducted very publicly on WP. So I guess you could say there was genuine "fun" (other than word games) happening here once upon a time.

Older members will probably know who I mean. What's noteworthy to me is that, as a woman diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, she was a very happy person and did not seem to suffer as a result of her (or her partner's) "disorder" (not that her life was a bed of roses, but whose is?). Something I see very little of here now, in fact just about everybody here seems miserable nowadays. This no-longer active member seems to me to personify, by her absence, what has changed about WP.

So yes I miss her in the sense that I would think it wonderful for her to sign in again and give an update or something, although I suspect she may have even forgotten that WP exists.
