I got a temporary job making more money than I've ever made, working for the same department I was in at my previous position. It's going to suck but money is money. And I'll only be there until February, and hopefully I'll have something else by then.
My former co-worker and my supervisor pulled this for me because that's how amazing they are.

The department is really disorganized and they don't understand all the stuff that goes into the job that I do. It's really more than a full time job, but only one person doing it, and the person who does it requires a lot of specialized knowledge about clinical research and organizational and federal guidelines, etc. When I worked there I was overworked and underpaid, and the two people I worked most closely with were pretty terrible to me a lot of the time. I got tried of the work environment and left. I wish I could just start a new job in a new department, but I don't have a choice without any other offers as of yet.
