Hello my fellow Aspies. Do any of you have sports obsessions? I don't know if this counts, but I am obsessed with eSports, and UFC in particular. What about you?

Not nearly as much now but baseball and hockey were "special interests" well into adulthood. Autism and other things have replaced them.

No, I don't like sports. But, by father (also an Aspie) is obsessed with soccer and watches even old games for hours. Drives my mom nuts.

I've been pretty into cycling for a while now but it's starting to become less of an obsession. When I wasn't doing it I would watch other people's cycling trips online. There are so many cyclists promoting their adventures, drone shots of bikepacking trips through Kazakhstan and whatnot. It's been a cultural wave that I was caught up in for a while but it's slowly reverting back to what it was before, just a way of getting around and a nice way to see the countryside.
I never got into the lycra

I was massively into football (ie 'soccer') in my teens and by the late 1970s had visited probably over half the grounds in the English Football League. Gradually lost interest after that. Influencing factors were things like increasing commercialization (advertising on shirts, for example), the trend towards all-seater stadiums and ripoff prices.

I've had a life-long obsession with The Olympics both summer and winter. I like the summer games a little more, because those were the first ones that I saw in 1984 at the age of 9.
