Wow that is a good skill. I cannot start cooking those things as I know I wont succeed.
But it makes the house smell beautiful if one knows how to bake breaded goods...

Bread used to intimidate me. It wouldn't rise for me all the time. It was discouraging. Found out it was a temperature issue and started using my oven, turned off, with the light on inside, to let it rise and it works every time. Since then I've been a bread making fool. I love the stuff. I could never do low or no carb diet. I'm too much of a bread junkie. bagels are surprisingly easy. They take a long time though. You have to let them sit overnight in the fridge. But beyond the waiting, they don't require much effort, so long time but easy enough.

I guess you smell good.
I noticed people who eat baked breads a lot have a pleasant aroma not like bread really. The way smokers emanate a sour smell.
I think body smell changes from the foods you eat..
My sister always smells like vanilla and cookies even if she isnt eating them and hasn't any perfume on. My XH said my skin always smelled like apples and strawberries.
My elder since he was born his head particularly has a very floral and pleasant smell..

Others commented on it before even if they gmhad only jusr entered the room. They also said he smelled like he had perfume on all the time...it was best when he was breastfeeding ...
but it dimished when he began having G tube formulas.

I don't like bread with no accompaniment. My roommate in Japan was a Saudi law student obsessed with bread.
She even daily offered me-- if I'd like some bread then she could get it for me too.

She would ask me --at odd hours like 2 AM -'to come with her to buy bread.
She googled the best places for bread in the cities.

She would buy a lot.

She would eat it plain. No butter, nothing.

She went through it very fast.

She never seemed unhealthy.

Though she was technically overweight it appeared nice and the shape was structured not uneven... an hourglass figure. I envied her looks and calmness.
Maybe her system could handle it. She also carried herself with dignity and grace-- not hunched over.

She was nice to me but once she glared at me very strongly when I posed the (good) question she had whispered to me, to the man..

She hadnt said it so I said it on her behalf so she could get the answer.

I thought it was helping her but she seemed very angry. I still feel embarrassed about it to this day.

Now after much thought I guess she thought I was trying to take credit for her question...

when all I was doing was trying to get her the answer FOR her ... as she seemed too shy to ask...

I know if I have a good question but unable to say it,

I love it if someone else asks it out loud...then I can hear the answer too without the embarrassment of talking in front of people..

I like it when people know what I want to ask and say it for me if I can't get the words out. It happens to me now and then, I just can't make the words come out of my head. Yeah, I appreciate that too.

Sorry your roommate got upset about it. Misunderstandings are no fun. Sorry too you feel embarrassment about it. I have tons of accidental oops moments myself. Unfortunately there is no mind reading device available for navigating human interactions. I'd so buy one.

My brother is out of the hospital and appears to be doing well, all things considered (he went in yesterday with what turned out to be a ruptured appendix).

I’m glad they caught the ruptured appendix in time. If not caught, it’s quite serious.

I wish your brother a speedy recovery.
