I always want to talk to someone about my special interest (Geckos) and I feel like a lot of people feel the same way, so everyone just post about their special interest. Go into as much detail as you like. I'm researching Tokay Geckos right now, so that's what I'll talk about.

Tokay Geckos are one of the biggest geckos in the world, just underneath New Caledonian Giant Geckos. They're named for their mating call, which sounds like "To-kay, to-kay". They're an arboreal species, found in mountainous, rocky areas, as well as lowland rainforests. They like to hide in crevices of rocks and trees, and are very territorial, with a powerful bite strong enough to draw blood. When they bite, they sometimes don't let go for over an hour. There are two main sub-types, Black Spotted and Red Spotted. Black spotted are more often found in Southeast Asia, whereas Red Spotted are found in Northern Vietnam and Mainland China. When they lay eggs, the female affixes them to a sturdy surface with a glue like substance, and then she and her mate take turns watching over them. The hatchlings are about 2-3 inches long, and little devil creatures that will readily bite

Accordions are frequently tuned to other than 440 concert pitch..sometimes up to 445 hertz. The reasoning is the accordion will standout from the other instruments.

I have the same two main hobbies since I was a young child, and I have noticed that in both of these I have matured my outlook and specialized within them. Where I once was more of an "All rounder" as far as the hobbies are concerned, now that I have matured, it is a case that "I know what I like and I don't like and I make my choice accordingly" where prior to this I just collected anything and everything to do with my interests.

My two main lifelong special interests (Hobbies) are model railways and bicycles.
