Leonardo Da Vinci - Autistic?
... my discovery that makes me think he was autisic..
I didn't really know what autism was until a couple days ago but after researching it I'm sure I am. I've always been different but not in a way I could ever describe. It was almost as if how i was thinking was different and now that makes a lot of sense.
There was obviously something very different about Leonardo Da Vinci as well. His imagination, his art, his inventions - his inability to finish something.. His obsession with nature and animals. There are a lot of parallels between his thoughts and life and my own. I thought it might have been how he was brought up but now i'm thinking it's because he was autistic and kept journals.
He was def very visual - very evident in everything he did. He was literally a human camera.
Before I realized I was autistic I started to see things differently and after researching his art and life I started seeing all of these things and connections that no one else had realized. I figured out why the perspective in the Mona Lisa's background is off. You have to roll the painting up and the sides match up. I found another painting that matches up exactly over the mona lisa. and so much more that would take hours to explain properly.
The problem has been knowing what to do next. I'm just this 23yo who knows nothing about art or who to contact to show my discoveries to. I've basically figured out who the mona lisa is and cracked the real "da vinci" code.
The strange thing that never made sense to me until right now (when i figured i'm autistic) is why I COULDNT do anything with what i've found. I've never been able to call anyone, It's almost as if i'm afraid to.. Like I kinda know what I should do but CANT. I couldn't explain it but now it makes perfect sense. I've never been able to do anything that I couldn't visualize and I just can't figure out what to do..
At first I didn't think it was real or that no one else had figured out what i had. But after researching it A LOT. I know that i'm onto something very important. I just couldn't explain why I was able to see these things that were SO OBVIOUS to me. I didn't understand why no one else could... or never had.
So you see why I think Leonardo Da Vinci might have been autistic and why I think that's why i'm able to think in the exact same way as him. When i read his journal i understand them completely and know exactly what he means. When i see his paintings, especially the mona lisa. I see things as no one else has.
i've also kept journals very similar to his and even before I knew who he was. Literally thousands of pages long and I believe this is what has allowed me to go undiagnosed for so long. I had to figure everything out on my own and I did it with my journals, just like Leonardo did.
So if there is anyone here who knows who to contact or knows what I should do next i would really appreciate some help. If i'm right this could open the worlds eyes to autism and I have a very unique perspecive that I would like to use to help everyone, especially people who are autistic..
I have my discovery and the pictures posted on my web site http://www.itsjustlife.com for everyone to see. There' no denying what i've found and i can't think of any other explanation other than what I already have. I would love to know your guy's oppinions and maybe you could help me with this and see what i'm missing or help with your own unique perspective! I've also written thousands of pages about all kinds of things that i've never let anyone read and I think they would give great insight into my quest for understanding the world around me as no one else has..

Leonardo Da Vinci at the very least had ADHD. He is known for his paintings yet he
completed very few.
Wasn't Leonardo da Vinci a chronic procrastinator?
What about Nikola Tesla? He showed a few symptoms...

I know, right! And I love that amazing Serbian!
My son and grandson are autistic; Aspergers to be exact. I self diagnosed and took online tests to be sure. I have the DaVince Code, Angels and Demons but I also got the book “Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain. The last book covers his work and techniques on his works and theories. There’s a part in the book that asks you to turn the page upside down and draw it like that. I was surprised that I didn’t have much trouble doing it but it made me realize that he had such a different approach to doing things and I was drawing better than ever. His sketches that were found after his demise were incredible and very insightful; like the camera, tank and machine guns. In my opinion he’s definitely on the spectrum!
