what painting speaks to you?

The one that appears as my avatar, namely Van Gogh's 'Starry Night Over The Rhone'. Can't really articulate what its significance is for me, I discovered it circa 1979-80 and it's just stayed with me....

It speaks to me for very specific, personal reasons which I won’t go into here.

What is your favorite period in art history?

that is a very difficult question to answer as i like many art periods

today i will go with art nouveau and more generally the belle epoque period in france. lots of interesting styles emerged during that time.

do have a creative hobby?

Tom Thomson - Moonlight (1914)

I do not. I tried to learn bass, but i would get self-conscious practicing around my partner, since he was, like, actually a bassist.

What's your favorite kind of bread / use for bread?

Home made. I use it to feed the wallabies.

My work ethic? Great, highly exploitable and exhausting. Even being self employed, I find myself to be the best worker and the worst boss.

I've never done either, but I imagine a play would be easier to write for me.
